Over the last few months I have worked with Executive TV on ‘Healthcare Solutions of the Future’ – a programme which featured Zilico’s cervical cancer diagnostic system, ZedScan.
The show looks at solutions that have been implemented to ensure patient-centricity within the UK healthcare sector and includes interviews with Zilico’s Chief Executive, Sameer Kothari and Academic Founder, Professor Brian Brown.
Clinicians from Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Central Manchester University Hospital also talk about their experience of using ZedScan in routine examinations and the impact it has had on their clinical practice and outcomes.
The future of the healthcare sector relies heavily on new concepts and innovations which ensures that patients are at the forefront of their service. Patient-centricity is therefore, vital within development of new solutions within this sector. New solutions and prospective techniques will ultimately ensure that the patient’s requirements are met. It is hence, important that the collaborative work of clinicians and solution developers is rigorous in order to provide new solutions which will be beneficial for patient health and treatments.
Working on behalf of Zilico, I helped arrange the interview with Zilico and the clinicians and liaised closely with the two NHS Trusts. The 30-minute programme will be broadcast on Propeller TV (Sky channel 189) in Sunday 12th February 2017 at 10:30am. Click here to view it.
